Police in Lahore, Pakistan, say they have apprehended an accomplice of the 21-year-old Czech woman who was arrested at Lahore airport for smuggling nine kilograms of heroin in her luggage.
According to Samaa TV the arrest was made during a raid in Lahore on the basis of information provided by the Czech national during interrogation. The suspect told interrogators that another man was also involved. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the third suspect who is still at large.
The young Czech, identified as Tereza Hluskova, could face a tough sentence for drugs smuggling. She claims she had no idea the parcel she was asked to take out of the country contained drugs.

National Geographic Society is preparing to launch a new app promoting historical sites on UNESCO’s list of cultural monuments. The new app is to be launched in London at the end of January.
