Athlete Zuzana Hejnova bags gold in Moscow

Czech athlete Zuzana Hejnova has won the 400 metres hurdles final at the World Championships in Moscow with a time of 52.83. Dalilah Muhammad of the United States was second in 54.09 and her compatriot and 2011 world champion Lashinda Demus came third in 54.27.

The 26-year-old Czech athlete was aiming for the gold after a hugely successful year in which she won all eight races she competed in, including five in the Diamond League. At the Diamond League meeting in London Hejnova crossed the line on 53:07 seconds.
