Vrba says he couldn’t be happier after perfect Euro qualifiers start

The Czech football manager Pavel Vrba says he couldn’t be happier with the team’s start to its campaign to reach Euro 2016 after a 4:2 win over Kazakhstan made it three wins in three games. Speaking at a news conference following Monday’s match, Mr. Vrba – whose team failed to impress in a series of friendlies before the Euro qualifiers – said journalists couldn’t be more surprised, he hoped pleasantly. Prior to being appointed national team coach he had enjoyed considerable success with club side Viktoria Plzeň.
